in this case, the sun would be the closest star. so if they selected Star Forger, it might be able to draw upon multiple stars instead of just closest one.

I don't think that'll work because she might have the thought to suppress it, and whenever it feels like it's gonna disappear or be threatened, it gets stronger out of defensiveness

couldn't he write something like, "You're a perfect hybrid between you and the digestor"? instead of getting rid of it, make it so the two work together to make a better being or make a rune that takes advantage of corruption?

they don't know that. readers do, but as far as they know, he as an aether tool that is so hot it could melt anyone with a minimal to some heat resistance.

it's his insecurities rather than being a hero. he couldn't save himself when ruby attacked him he got lucky to still be alive, could barely save people while good, but then when to kill said people, and if he didn't have the true, he would have killed them. couldn't have Kyle. so at this points he's trying to prove he can save someone with his strength

that's true, but Will knows Jake's feeling on the matter. I mean, he doesn't have to run everything by Jake for a yeah or not because he'd never get an answer based off Jake's training habits but sending a message on what's currently going on and Xi can relay it to him of she thinks it's important enough. He will either think it's important enough to talk with Will or thinks it's ok and just completely ignore the update. it's more of a mutual respect thing, like how jake takes into account his group members' thoughts ideas before makes major changes.

because as much as he's trying to say he's taking the high ground and doing what's best, he's actually subconsciously wanting power and control through manipulation. which is why he didn't put his charisma aether coding like everyone else put their coding into the vault. yes, everyone would keep a trump card, but as it was stated, having a coding is different for every individual based on the abilities taken along side it. so his argument kinda falls flat with that thought process.
Jake was apparently the only one who did not know about their joint Ordeal project. Will feared he would refuse because of his previous conflicts with Wyatt. This wasn't the first time the merchant had played a trick on him, thinking he was doing the right thing, and this time was the last time.
