You on the other hand did. And if you're a rereader then try not to spoil this novel too by explaining the plot. I went as vague as I can, trying to argue how my comment is a spoiler will actually really spoil things.

so no one's gonna point out this church's Hermes cathedral has a Tower of Babel? just what is the background of that? is it similar to the biblical tower that fell or did the author just decide to add it for reference without knowing the story behind and only knowing it's a tall tower from religious texts?
