I mean, I get how you want to share what Ricky aims to do and what he wants to hapoen, but I think you don't necessarily need to make a monologue for that to happen. Instead, you can embedd it into the story as the plot progresses. Instead of dumping it in one go, and I can feel that there's really no much progress on this chapter from the last chapter. To be honest, this rambling of a chapter was too subjective. Perhaps it tried to aim objectively as how it groups the people but nevertheless it stayed subjective still. Despite that, I still enjoyed it. Probably because it's pretty interesting to know how other people think, and probably that's what the Author was pondering about at the time. Readers who only read for "entertainment" doesn't mean that authors couldn't make something out of the box or quality content. They don't have to cater to you cause fanfiction authors aren't payed any penny. So, to those who called this boring(to many people), and useless(you're dumb), shame on you. Cause this chapter has obviously been under a lot of thought and it's a peek on the character's mindset and thought process. Which would lead you to know if you would like to proceed with the book or not. For me, I liked it and I would obviously read this. Thank you author, let me appreciate the efforts you did that others didn't appreciate.
