The author wrote himself into a corner by having Pantu kill Horizon's parents, making Horizon way too OP in the story. Now he's stuck dealing with the consequences of this decision, dragging out the "Pantu has already killed his parents" plotline far too long. If I didn't know better, I'd think he's deliberately taking us for a ride, because at this point there's literally no one who can realistically defeat Horizon. This storyline has become stale and predictable, weakening the entire fic.

It would be traumatizing for anyone who witnessed it, even if they didn’t know Nappa personally. I can’t imagine how you plan to handle Krillin’s death to trigger Goku—it’s going to be tough to top that.
