The first arc was rather decent but there are too many plot holes after that. It just turns into another cliche face slapping novel and everyone being pissed off or showing disdain to the MC for no reason that it makes no sense. It always makes me wonder after having read a lot of these kind of novels and seeing face slapping or treating people with disdain a lot, if this is how Chinese society is like for so many people to write about it. If you are Chinese feel free to reply as I’m genuinely curious. Combined with how slow the story is and the unnecessary nerfs that the author gives to the MC so that other people can catch up to his level is also annoying. Whilst I enjoy reading about an MC who uses a demonic technique and who is so OP that he can literally kill groups of people at his level I’m going to have to stop reading this one. It just gets tiring and frustrating that the MC is constantly degraded for no reason, it’s like the author made the MC into someone that everyone just craps on despite everyone saying how’s he’s a monster or a genius like 2 chapters before. All in all if your heart can survive the high blood pressure due to the pure frustration that reading this novel will undoubtedly give you, then it’s a decent time killer.
