I actually like Aika, a lot of authors use her as a sort of blank slate (other than the fact she’s a pervert) and I like that.

I had used shadow travel excessively during the war, so I was more than used to the sickly feeling. That came with near-instant teleportation; my uncles, however, did not if the loud sounds of retching were anything to go by.
