The Tarot cards were laid out in a circle around me. The Fool, The Tower, Death. I'd added others over time. The Magician for spell detection. The High Priestess for hidden threats. The Hanged Man for traps.

But I'm engraving a set of wards in two distinct languages. One of them is using Tarot cards. This ward is supposed to be a detection system, alerting me if anything with hostile intent crosses the property line. The Tarot cards act as anchors, each one corresponding to a different type of threat. The Fool for unknowns. The Tower for sudden danger. Death for, well, death.

But back to what I was getting back to, this Touki stuff was more irritating than it looks. It takes an immense amount of concentration to manifest and it takes a lot of willpower to keep together. I mean practice makes perfect but I was hoping the moment I manifested it I could start doing op self insert bullshit like the nine lives from Fate or Rokushiki.

But I really have no gateway to get into the supernatural side without putting myself in danger. It's something I'll need to get over at some points. Especially since I want to recreate the black barrel, and several other weapons in this new life.
