just got off work so im tired but will someone help me understand how in a world of immortals,spirits,demons,gods,dragons, and wizards. that being a mermaid is important, like dose she have some great power, part of a royal family, have some terrible enemy. or is it just "oh she a human with fish tail marvelous." my brain not understand.

done with volume 1 so far really enjoyed. the mc character building so far is really good haven't got much to say about the girls hope we see them grow a bit more in v2. haven't noticed many grammar errors but usually for me as long as you get the genders right I don't really notice. on one hand the timeskips feel like I'm missing a lot on the other hand they help it not feel like in a repeating grind, if you read a bit you'll understand what I mean. as it is right now it seems like something that I like to let build up and binge read
