How come none of the female supporting roles in the books I read died this easily? Even the 'weak' ones were like everlasting cockroaches let alone the main ones. Heck the closer mc and ml became the more persistent they became and many times it shifts from love and vanity to spite and resentment. No matter how injured, scarred or mocked they are they never just kill off themselves from heartbreak. Am I supposed to respect them now? I mean they're hateful but the fact that till the very end they'd rather become half-living ghosts than let mc live happily is still a lot less embarrassing than this...

Little children in general do, boys or girls. After a certain age we all reduce how much we cry. And while girls will tend to cry more they are really not weak. It's kind of worrisome to see women think that because they cry more therefore they are automatically less capable.
