this is really good. i recommend reading and even for myself who doesnt know much of the lore it was still digestable.
actually got 1 criticism, as the progresses vane doesnt need to keep referring to his past in the slums. it feels like every single converation revolves around that, like someone will say well done, and vane will reply thats how you have to do it to survive in slums. it gets repetitive.
this is really good. i recommend it. i like the spear arts stuff
i dont recommend this story because the author uses ai, which is ok if edited correctly, but in this case, the author fails to check over the chapters leading to inconsistencies particularly regarding the mc's knowledge of the dxd world. Secondly, the story moves quite fast and not much is explained, i would have preferred slower pace with more descriptions and how his life is at school and training etc.
I agree, the impulsiveness is a let down.
binge read the whole thing up till latest chapter in a day. very good novel, best fan fic i have read in a long time. the plot is pretty engaging and I like the characters being used, they arent generic ones you would think of. if I had some criticism it would be perhaps the fighting scenes can get dragged on a little bit, but thats a personal preference. I would recommend you to read it.
nvm i read the next chapter and he says he wants to unseal without being detected.
So wants to unseal his power at the academy so the Demons can come back and kill him right away? Where is the logic? He was literally sealed to be safe from the demon sensing his bloodline.
personally, I dont think that's the correct way to do your dialogue. like - talk thoughts talk thought talk thoughts. it felt very unatural and disrupted the flow. I think give a few sentences between characters, then explain stuff going on in the head, you can even cut away the internal monolgue completely. I think it is just unnecessary.
if Aenar can see 1000s of futures, what reason does he need an advisor?
