I gave 2 stars to story development and character design category...and 5 stars to the other 3 categories. I like that the FL is so badass, but disappointed that she's so weak to the ML. What is it with female-lead these fantasy/cultivation authors that need to make ML an overbearing, rude, mean, violent, stalker, killer character. Then make the FL fall for him despite that she doesn't like those kind of characters in the first place. Nice guys don't prevail. Only be unrequited loved friends or subordinates to the FL. In this story the ML is already bad from the first time he showed up. He forced himself to FL home. Stalking her, grab her physically whenever he has chance. Interfere in her life everytime. And I make a wild prediction that the FL though seem not like it, but gradually love that kind of treatment. It happened to 90% of all the female-lead cultivation stories I read... So the lesson here is no matter how strong and independant a woman is, she eventually has to submit and be dependant to an evil abusive strong possessive man.
