Lol... Using his own clone's power is a trick, gotta love how delusional some characters get
... I know it's not the first time we've had a contradiction in this novel, but it was explicitly stated previously that due to how long Keira had been in the alien insect world and how she had essentially founded what is the current alien insect species that she was intricately linked to this world so when using the world treasure it would also affect her. oh well, gotta love author/translator continuity moments
Don't think that guys rank was ever actually mentioned - they only ever mentioned Tristan being a rank 2. But with the apparent, supposedly huge, differences between ranks... you think a rank 3, even a new one, would have no issue dealing with a NEW rank 2 which Tristan still supposedly is as we have had no indication of his strength going up... basically, ranks don't matter until they do - for plot.
Because, drum roll please, PLOOOOOOOOT. Which at this point I'm beginning to doubt the author has any idea of what they want for his character. MC is distrustful of everyone they come across? Check. MC suddenly warms up to everyone after spending a few days with them? Check. MC is going to accept being recruited by an organization that literally paid two people to beat him black and blue because they apparently had some interest in him inheriting their legacy? Probably at the rate this novel is going.
What even is this... it's honestly just tacky - this is a freaking BLACKSMITH guild. What is the legacy they have the secret art of body forging that allows a blacksmith to forge their enemies bodies through combat to whatever they desire? if I'm right... yeah I'm out at that point
Well, either this proves he is seeing a different screen than what we see for the item - or he is actually dumb and not just pretending so as not to be "suspicious"
and third thought (annoyed I can't edit comments but oh well), doesn't he WANT a reputation he can use to create an organization to attract players and NPCs in preparation for this supposed final battle? At this point it seems like that goal is out the window, or will be magically fulfilled by him being a member of royalty or something from his last name.
But yes, the final battle and apparently being backstabbed by the brother/comrades he thought he could always believe in (if we're using the cliche approach for why he is this distrustful) explains everything
Yep, considering he's still trying to hide these things but then won't pursue things like his last name issue and immediately being okay with revealing he has a mythic class... it's just disappointing at this stretch
Still doesn't change the fact it's annoying as apparently everyone in any position of slight power from every village, town, and city seems to know what his last name signifies but then no one remarks upon it other than a raised eyebrow, or an "Oh, could you repeat that?"
Took the words right out of all our heads...
Could be some kind of ripple effect of him being brought back - or maybe the royal family was dethroned before he had a chance to get to know them.
