Yes, everything that is canon.
The problem with the Happily Ever After potion is that it promises divine beauty. Shrek saw himself as ugly as an ogre and wanted to make Fiona happy, which is why he transformed into a human. Donkey, on the other hand, didn’t perceive beauty in a human sense but as a majestic horse—and that’s exactly what he became. Additionally, there are theories suggesting that Donkey was once human. He even hints at this in Shrek the Third when he mentions getting wedgies in school but quickly drops the subject. If this theory holds true, it means he got so used to being a donkey that he no longer associated beauty with a human form. With that in mind, it’s hard to say how the potion would affect Puss and Kitty. After all, Kitty likely doesn’t see human beauty as superior to her feline elegance. And by the time it happens, Puss himself might prefer being a cat over becoming human.
It's the Shrek universe, so it has the wacky versions of Disney princesses. If Puss wants to visit other universes, he'll have to leave his own to find them. What I mean is, Rapunzel will still be the crazy Shrek-style Rapunzel, not the sweet one from Tangled—and so on.
Hahaha, I thought that too!
The issue is that Adventures of Puss in Boots is said to be an alternate timeline, and while I do have plans for that kind of thing, for now, I'd rather focus on the canon universe. This is the timeline I'm following.
Yeah, even I get bored writing these chapters. But as forgettable as they may seem, skipping them would make the story feel rushed, lacking world-building and proper setup. But that’s normal, I believe, at the beginning of a novel. Once the explanations are out of the way, the pacing will be more structured and faster, without leaving too many questions about why things happen one way instead of another.
I’m familiar with The Adventures of Puss in Boots. The issue is that it’s said to be an alternate timeline, and while I do have plans for those kinds of things, for now, I’d rather focus on the canon universe. This is the timeline I’m following.
