Ok this here raises questions. But first, it's nice to know what kind of powers she has. But what is important is that this brings into question can you us powers in the mimic house? We have previously learned that when inside a monster (and even a dead one) that you can't use powers. But now you can us it in the mimic? Is it the fact that the mimic is a memory and not a true monster or does Sunless have some control over this? And is Sunless hiding his power? He could make Shadow arms the could do this. Or he could shadow Step/port it to him now.

Wow, going to the doctor must be fun for you. The Doc will say you have a disease but won't tell you what it is and that you should enjoy it.

While he can do that, it just he would not stay under the radar. One, he can be mistaken for an actual monster. 2, Only Saints and those of transforming aspect are known to take on another form and he is trying to hide he is a Saint. It's better to have a memory that can fly for him.

He should have made an armband that could make him fly.

Ok, this has always bothered me. It the Pearl . It makes no sense to do it this way. This is one of those writers and game makers think this is cool but make NO SENSE. Shubing a pearl in your mouth and then go to battle under water is an idiotic idea. And shows these people don't know basic body functions. Sunless in the end will either gag or swallow it in battle while being surrounded in under water pressure. The pearl is more of threat to him then the monsters.And I don't think this was what it was made for. He should have made a mask instead.

And also not every story needs to explain everything. There is plenty of stories that don't explain everything, and people still loves them. Like Lord of the Rings and Game of thrones. Or as readers know it as a Song of Ice and Fire. Heck, you could end Sunless story right here and begin a new series with whole new character that explain a lot more in this world.

How the cohort is related to the gods is rather simple. All aspect is relation to one god or another. It's not like everyone is some descendent of a god or something.

Or better yet "go in there, do not make a sound, see what's in there, take the fruit, then slowly back out of there and then eat the fruit."

You guy do realize that the whole purpose of future Sunless to show up is just to hint of future stories. You could say future Sunless is trying to take up time so past Sunless is less likely to die but that would not be of fate working with past Sunless just his future self because future Sunless has no fate. And you can Question if this is paradoxical. Did future Sunless only stopped to talk to past Sunless only because if happend to him the past self or is there an actual reason.

The thing is at this point, this is a reasonable ending to the whole Series. Sunless could just walk away, no strings attached and become a merchant or whatever now and no one will ever remember him. But the only reason this will go one simple because the readers want it to, not that in needs to.

So, thus is what I'm thinking. Sunless should create a Flawless, True nameless andAspectless group/cult. In order to help the people to fight monsters and the monster know as politics. He should probley check to see if his old character from the movie is still there. And check if the government still has him in their records and remember him. He shouldcheck in on the old group from time to time. And he should meet his old professor and see if he still remembers him.

Does this mean this book/series need a name change now?

Here is an idea to check if he still has a True Name. He says I have no true name. If his flaw kicks in he still has it. If it doesn't then he lost it. The same can be said for the Shadow bond. but it would be best if he had the Weavers mask on to hide from fate and Cassie.

Several thing to point out. 1 With all the descriptions of a snake, Sunless will turn in to a snake. 2. It seem future Sunless is having memory problems. either there is something wrong with his head or he is from to far into the future and can't remember clearly. 3. Why did future Sunless even both to talk to past him? What, to waste time so he does not get killed? 4. Why can't future self tell past self hey there is a great terror in there so don't go in there.

Apparently, he gets to keep all of the memories he altered and the divine ones. He just lost all the rest. His first original ones he had have been altered so he got them. Just wish he kept the Midnight & Moonlight shards. Those ones were of importants to history and connection to the past.

At the heart of the book it is a cultivator story. Before the Nightmare spell everyone had to do it the hard way. Awakening, finding your aspect, finding yourself for a hundred years or so and beating the crap out of everyone. And then the Nightmare spell came along and made that SOO much easier and streamlined.

Here is what I think Sunless should do. If he has any soul shard from the 3rd nightmare he should us them to up grade fully the Puppeteers Shroud and Add all the enchantments from the Shroud of graceless Dusk. Frankly he should have dome that a long time ago. And if he has the spare Weavers mask from Ananke he should make so the flipping the flaw ability was an activating ability not passive. And give other enchantments like water breathing, durably and the hair changing color ability.

Ok this bring up a question for me. By what laws do items made from say groups like the anvil clan work. If he had a pure item from the anvil clan, will he have kept it? And should Sunless have kept the cruel sights?

Couldn't he have kept the moonlight shard at least?

Does this mean Sunless can rip of Mordret? So when Sunless dies he can take over one of his shadows body's and make it real to continue on with his day.
