From what I renember the Original wasn't as detailed so I didn't recognize it until I saw the kingdom was named Zodiac, so if you want to you could just change the premise after that, should be different enough from source inspiration that nobody will complain. That is if you want to, honestly you already wrote enough book, stretching yourself too thin will cause.... not Writer's Block, rather Writer's Fatigue.
