Actually it's not that surprising that the Yakuza helped out. they have a long History of helping with disasters like earthquakes and floodings. not purely for altruistic reasons of course but there is precedent.
kind of depends. going by game mechanics sure but people like Radahn helled the stars in place. that's pretty insane as far as displays of strength go.

also, just a small thing but given the time period he wouldn't know what a turret is. not sure when they were made but perhaps ballista would fit better?

kinda bugs me that 2B could be brought over but not someone like Geralt. I'd argue she's every bit as "human" as Geralt. also makes me wonder if being born us necessary or not to qualify as human for this strange power he has. i mean, what about a cyborg like Adam smasher? he's more robot that human, can he be brought over?
