I mean the magic capacity is growing with age so he will probably be well above average for his pears and even some adults. Since he actually knows magic from his ancestors knowledge, he is actually automatically better then most of the magical world. In canon most many adults couldn't even use a decent protego or other spells. Most wizards and witches didn't even learn magic properly. Canon Ron and Harry had no real motivation to excel in magic and just cruised through school. All the knowledge he has from the Peverell brothers must make him OP in the long term.
