Lu Yan dont be an idiot, he just gave you an in. All you have to do is make Lily love you and then your in Jake's group where he has to at least attempt to protect you. Since you will be important to Lily who is somewhat important to Jake but more important to Tim and Tim is definitely important to Jake. If nothing else, Jake need's Tim's luck. I just imagined how the MC of Legendary Mechanic always touches the people around him with luck whenever he gets a reward that is in anyway random. I imagine Jake will do the same thing with Tim and make sure to keep Tim near him so that way he always benefits from that luck, which is again similar to what the MC of Legendary Mechanic does. All Lu Yan has to do is follow Jake and any problems she had with Aether or growing her strength will be resolved because he is the MC. Obviously she does not know that but she has to at least realize that Jake is at the top of the pack when it comes to their planets generation of players. He is at least in the top 100 rankin of players and maybe even Top 50 but I am not as sure about that. Honestly, she is smart enough to realize that if she can cling on to Jake and kill his enemies for him, Jake will keep her and her brother safe. I truly hope that is what happens.

At least he knows how a way to deal with them now. Take of their armor during a cold part of the trial. Of course the problem being actually getting the armor off. In theory Jake should be able to manipulate Ice as long as its in his surroundings. Maybe one day he will be capable of creating ice just from taking away the heat of an area, either by absorbing it himself or some other means. For now though, I think he is stuck with what his current race limits him to, at least until he ranks up. Not that his race really limits him all that much but in comparison to the Nosk's it seems like he still has a ways to go.

Remember that poison that Jake has, the one that made him into a killing machine for a night. Its probably the only thing he can do that will let him kill the Nosk. It seems like the Nosk is a 10, Jake is an 8, and Sarah is a 6, in terms of combat strength. Although Jake has the potential to be a 10 he just needs to get better used to fighting in his current form.

I look forward to seeing Jake eventually complete an ordeal using only his unique form of crafting. It has to happen eventually but probably only in an ordeal that does not favor combat as a solution to get ahead which would be a very interesting ordeal.

Wait, so Jake who is much taller,physically stronger, and stronger in aether cant catch up to Tim who is a teenager with stats probably a bit better than an average *****. Maybe Tim ,at best, is as at the level of a top class Olympian athlete but regardless Jake should be able to catch up very quickly. It's also weird that Jake hesitated to go and protect the kid, whose only real 'family' is Jake and his group. Maybe his bloodline is affecting his thoughts to make him more prone to being a predator which means he wants to hunt more than he wants to protect Tim. Or it could be that his bloodline species just train their young very harshly from a young age and thus at Tim's age , in Jake's mind, he should be able to protect himself. I wonder if we will ever get to see an overprotective Jake like a mother bear that rips apart any threat that gets within eyesight of her cubs. Maybe that will happen if his cousin gets hurt or Ruby or if he has his own kids.

Personally, I think its more impressive to persist in an environment meant to be insanely challenging, like water loaded with predators to most humanoids species is. Than it is to run to the shore and thus increasing your chances of survival, if even only by a very small amount depending on what the land has in store for the players.

Survival should be one of Jake's specialty considering that is what he prepared for before he even ended up on the Seed world. Of course now he has the combat experience and techniques to actually stay alive longer than he could have when he first arrived on the Seed World. Plus his bloodline makes him a warrior who specializes in a long drawn out fights that have periods of rest, where Jake can hopefully heal underground. It does kind of suck that there have been people who have survived the entire second ordeal because it would be nice to see Jake break all of the other Earthling's records. But I guess he is not quite at that level yet.
