I've read fanfics where using Shadow Clones to do Hokage job/duties is seen as dishonest, dishonorable, wrong, morally bad, gives a bad image on the position or on the Hokage itself, or just straight BS reasons. Which is more than canon has told (I think, don't read or watch Boruto, and probably never would)
