I think author you need to have a clear path for your worldview, currently it is a mix between dark world Pokémon (poacher, death etc..) and childish world with Ash like the anime, which lead sometimes to confusing choice by the MC, like the gang who tried to wreck the gym, kill MC and getting no punishment. I think you need to define your own rule what can be done, what can't be done, what punishment, or else later it can lead to major mistakes in the plot.

I think that evolution is not something that you can get easily, or else the story would be too rushed. But I also think that feebas can get some side story to show its growth, because apart from 2-3 sentences we can't see much. Maybe some Pokémon battle against weak trainer to see that he became a little bit better.

Personally for all the crime they did, they should at least be imprisoned, attempt of murder, damaging other properties, even if it is a backward town and Pokémon world, what they are doing is like worse than team rocket.

I really like the vibe and the feel but you need to know that Filch was recruited by Dumbledore when he was a squib and they know each other for several years i find it difficult that Filch have more trust towards a stranger than Dumbledore (even if it is a Ravenclaw).

Technically this type of magic is a truly OP one in the Danmachi world, don't think that it seems useless cos every MC has it but in the dungeon, to reach deeper floor, there will be a need for a big team since you won't be able to take 50 floors in one day. You will need supplies. And having a space is a god given magic in the dangerous dungeon, where your supplies can get easily destroyed.

You can make it as a bait thinking that he is overly reliant on artifact but is just as powerful without, creating a surprise effect.
