It was worse than the Game of Thrones ending. The entire series builds Homelander up as this unstoppable monster who absolutely demolishes every standard superhero he comes across. Then at the end they give him an even bigger power boost with the V shot… only to have him get his ass kicked by standard supes. What was the point of spending seasons establishing him as basically a god if the writers were just going to ignore their own power scaling in the finale?
