I was reading this when it was free. Thats the difference I spose. I've never spent a cent on this app so that line of thought doesn't apply to me. I have all chapters unlocked because I read most of them for the first time on release and I really can't relate having never spent a cent on this site.

Read the book years ago (bought the entire series on kindle) first book to get me into the genre and one of my favourites I have ever read. Seeing it on this site is about to prompt my 3rd rereading. Would definitely reccomend giving it a read.

-_- why is everyone so keen on seeing the mc become a mass murderer I don't understand. This is a college kid, he has admitted he is lazy, combined with the fact that he does not actually want to murder innocent people, even if it's the 'smart choice' he didn't kill him. I'd say find another book if you want someone who follows the doctrine of 'if I just kill everyone in the world then nobody can kill me 4head'
