I agree that peasants would have to exist in one form or another. They do today if you tilt your head and sqint a little (blue collar vs white collar workers). but slaves are unnecessary for a functioning midevel society.

I've seen a line once when i read the book of Mormon. I forgot the exact words. but it was something like, if you always had a good king it's prob. the best way of governance. mankinds inclinations and history show that to be impossible to always have a good king though...

hydrophobic needles lol. There are underwater guns but they mostly shoot darts. A regular guns bullet will not travel more than 6ft forward in water. Thinking more about it though...maybe a hydrophobic syringe dart could be effective?

As the kids were done washing each other. Rei handed Konan a slice of hard bread and watched as she gulped when her hands clasped it. She looked at Rei, her eyes expectantly asking for permission.
