Aren't their mage fairly powerful? It may take a few of them together to fight the MC but they should be able to counter him. Same with the Dragonborn. Of course if they deal with those two it will leave the imperials free to deal with the dominion's forces.

Thanks for the chapter. I always though that the Mage were powerful compared to other story, but if you think about it they are really limited. Their principal advantage is that they are basically scientist. which is why leylin grow strong this fast.
