I agree partially, however the daos of time/space/death ect to me are in some sense on a greater level then shadow. Long term I just don't want her to fall behind then needing plot armour to catch up when you could of just given her a more encompassing dao at the start.
you realise that there would be countless other people in the universe of this story who have more talent then the MC and work just as hard if not harder but because he is the "MC" he of course will make it to the top because oh he has "HaRd wOrK".
A decent player that obtained such a skill to me would at least go into the town and gain as much knowledge at possible (ask around/library/ect) before deciding on their first beast or even kill more bubble beasts to gain information. Even then I think most would also explore all the starting areas to gather more information on all the starting beasts and the world in general so he has as much knowledge stored/deduced with his skill as possible before deciding which beast to tame first. I feel like this is even true if he decided he wanted to tame a bubble beast at the start.
Enjoying the story so far. However, If anything he should be indebted to all the players that killed all the bubble beasts before him not the bubble beasts themselves. His reason for taming one in my opinion is stupid. Oh well and of course its the weakest beast with the lowest potential/talent.
Given that (assuming) he's based on merlin, giving him high talent makes a lot more sense. He can still rise from being weak to strong ect. Furthermore, even if he wasn't based on merlin I would rather one case of plot armor resulting in high talent/4 affinities rather then continuous cases of plot armor throughout the novel which are used to make him strong even though he has bad talent which would only happen because he's the "MC".
Are/Do we see more expansion about formation masters in the future? It seemed the MC was one in the beginning of the novel but its slowly lost focus.
