Yes that Tengu. They started from the sky dogs but as times passed and culture changed they became known as crows. So they went from Daitengu to Karasutengu or Kotengu. I’m sure you are aware myths change over time. They are sometimes also shown in human forms. I am also having them as bird bird because all the forms of Tengu have wings. And I think the Daitengu form looks like a featherless + beakless bird.
