I thought we found out in the masterwork museums that all masterworks are at a minimum slightly alive. I even remember a few that were close to 2nd order? Am I remembering this wrong?
How would the Mechers regulate masterwork mechs produced by others since masterworks are naturally living mechs if with weaker living qualities?

Remember how he used to be into projector capes in most of his third class designs? I think more recently the only one I can think of was mars. Make for some good “cloaking”.

Do living mechs create faith energy? You could ask some or most of them to worship her or other god pilots. You could even take advantage of the old galaxy and make living mechs for 2nd and 3rd eaters in both galaxies and literally print out believers.

I would say she’s experiencing a body dissociation where both sides make the other feel like it’s not her. There a mental difference between “cool I have wings now and can fly” and “ I’m now 2-3 times my previous size and can fit a medium sized being in my stomach and can literally eat a cow.” It probably feels like she’s wearing a fake mask no matter which form she takes. My only agreement in that it feels dumb is that there wasn’t more lead up or smaller moments about this to make it feel like a less sudden issue.
