Nope. In the game, the Dimensional Scream was just a device used to advance the plot. Here, Dante already knows the canon future. I don’t really see any use for it so I removed it.

Yes, I am trying to make him more arrogant. After all, gaining a System, winning a Tournament, defeating a Champion, people on the internet treating him like the next Messiah, and even having a beautiful girl throw themselves at him, it would be weird if the MC still remains so humble. Don't forget, he's not an adult turning into a teenager. He's a teenager just travelling to a parallel world. As for his scummy behaviour...well, all I can say is being horny and drunk tends to make someone do some rather questionable action. Though, I will also admit that he is a bit of a scumbag even without being drunk.

Yeah, I already have so many other fanfic ideas in my head. Right now, I'm trying to practice my speed of writing because as it is, I'm spending 6-8 hours just writing a single chapter of this fic. I honestly respect those authors now who can write 2 or even more chapters per day.

Thanks for the criticism! Yeah, I also noticed the lack of enthusiasm from some readers with regards to the real world setting. To be honest, I haven't watched much of Pokemon anime, probably a few sporadic episodes when I was a child and also a few movies. Instead, what really got me into the Pokemon franchise was the games and competitive battling. So I tried to incorporate what I am familiar with, being the Pokemon, and mixed them with the real world so I can have more freedom with regards to world-building. I have mixed the countries where the Pokemon region was inspired, such as Kanto being Japan, Unova being America, etc. and also brought in some Pokemon characters there, but it looks like that still isn't enough. Anyway, at least I learned not to do this again in my next fanfic lol. Again, thanks for the long and constructive criticism. May you also have a great day.
