I am guessing this will be the start of the schism between the cross clan and the Larkinson clan. After all what Reginald did was tantamount to spitting in Ves' and the Larkinson clans face. Sure it appeased Gloriana but nobody cares about her application of living mech, since it only works with custom mechs and even then probably only with expert or ace mechs . Plus it's Gloriana which is, in my opinion, enough said.
The fact that Patriarch Reginald brutally murdered the personality of his living mechs showed that the Cross Clan most likely dropped any further interest in exploring the possibilities of making use of synergistic living mechs at any level!
