Dude.... finish the book then leave a review... of course the technology won't make sense to you, it's a "fictional" world. You seriously can't expect authors to build fantasy worlds based on reality's scientific principles. Also how and why God's domain VR far outclasses the current VR in that world and how people can play during their sleep time.... just continue reading... The author slowly reveals everything as the story develops... Sure there are some cliched overused plots but you don't need to beat down so hard on it

if ya want a Chinese sci fi novel try it's not easy to be a man travelling to the future. Though it has a female lead for the majority of the book all of us forget that she's a girl sometimes I doubt even the author doves cause there's basically no romance till chp 1200 or so. It's a sort of female lead novel with the male lead vibe, completely breaks apart from the female protagonist stereotypes of always having some love interest coming to save her at the end of the day. It's actually a unique gem which when reading feels as though you're reading a classic yet unique Chinese cultivation+sci-fi novel with a male protagonist who is actually female but almost all of us forget about it, sometimes even the protagonist herself.
