A/N: And Just to clarify I did misread the halo wiki and saw that energy shielding was created later in the war after they captured and studied covenant technology. I would like to point out that this paragraph does not make sense with a previous paragraph stating that he thinks it might be true about being cursed and then proceeds to say he tried but he wasn't very good at it?
Trying to get rid of the curse was something Dumbledore had attempted. However, finding and breaking curses wasn't exactly what Dumbledore was best at, so he didn't have any luck with it. He thought about bringing someone else in to take a look and try to fix the curse.
