From what I remember after Jenna became a minor Arcana, her tasks were to assist Franca in finding the mirror people, and to investigate the demoness ancestor (since the ancestor was a natural born demoness, and Jenna, being a woman from the beginning, would be the most likely to form a connection with her) She had to make up an excuse to go down though, since the Demoness Sect would be suspicious of it if Jenna went there for no reason, since she and Franca might be monitored, so they accepted some mission to go there together
Don't forget, Aurore had access to as much information as Klein did (Roselle's diary), and has a far greater network to obtain various bits of trivia from (Curly haired society). Likewise, Lumian is smart, and managed to obtain most of his high level knowledge by piecing together hints from conversation with Fors, a literal demigod
The first book felt kind of slow. For me when Klein was still the protagonist and given that Roselle was already an angel, Evernight was already a goddess and the the Ancient Sun God was already above the sequence, all that stuff he did as Moriarty felt kind of not important and slow...
aw come on, people have to attend a whole seminar on first aid or public speaking before they can be qualified to do it themselves? it's pretty impressive that Lucian was able to speak about ethics and morality with just a book and no practice, this stuff can be very touchy and tricky to discuss
yeah, as an example, tales of herding gods did this amazingly imo as half the characters always go by an epithet yet it always flows incredibly naturally because you know that the translator knows what they are doing and translating everything correctly. like, there's a guy who's called blind, and everyone knows that's not his real name, because it is literally translated as blind, while the main character's name is cow herder, yet it's always translated as Qin mu because whe know that that is his given name, and then they add nuance as there's a character who affectionately calls him cowherd and so the translator makes the conscious choice for her sentences to have his name be "cowherd" instead of "Qin mu"; unlike here where Linge is now the blue fairy for no reason
yeah, everyone complaining that the MC isn't power levelling seems to ignore the amazing wordbuilding and genuine personalities within it that treat its characters beyond mere cannon fodder and like actual people. like in this chapter and the last, it could have easily been a generic harem "omg I touched a catgirl and she likes it too moment" the MC instead carries himself with maturity and respects relationship boundaries, while the catgirl demonstrates all the conflicting responses of an immortal who is also a child at heart who has just lost her family
well yes, because levelling up IS an afterthought. you need to remember, this is his life now, and if he doesn't enjoy it, whats the point? he's already the disciple of the strongest being in the game, something that he initially planned to reach after a long time only for it to fall into his lap. now that he is such a disciple, his protection and status is practically guaranteed, so he has no real reason to level up quickly as that will only one, bring suspicion about who he is (potentially harming his relationship with sir), and two, cause him to again, miss out on life and relationships because remember, while games are games, who would willingly spend days in real life grinding their jobs or working hard at studying when they can have fun with friends and eat good food?
