Very good story with clear logical progression. Author isn't aftaid to let the mc suffer setbacks yet makes sure the mc can grow strong and OP from them. I cant wait to read more

I noticed you're about to introduce grafting I wanted to show you an excerpt from the lore you may or not may not know already: Loux grafted the lion guardian to suppress his violence in order to create the first elden lord. He used grafting as a means to temper his godly strength and gain wisdom. Godrick and future worshippers corrupted the process of grafting as a means of attaining godly power that did not belong to them. Godfrey used grafting as a means to temper his true godly inner strength. Simple and poetic. Hope you can use the lore to have the mc do something truly unique with grafting. perhaps temporary grafting that tempers and quenches his power, increasing it. (for example dragon's heart to increase arcane, then he consumes it eventually, gaining its strength without downsides, as godfrey did, the true meaning of grafting).
