She heard about a thing called a coliseum in the old books that Ungle Aggie, better known as King Aggramor of the Demon Kingdom, showed her. It was a place where humans and monsters fought each other for the entertainment of the crowds, with people betting on the outcome. According to the King, the fighters were all prisoners sentenced to death, but if they could win ten straight fights they would be pardoned and released. The way this novel is handeled makes me happy. At this point in the story an inflection point would have occured, where the story shifts into a new story, that is told in a new way. Cutting it of before it happens to possibly start a new story that can grow on its own is good. It would not be bogged down by how this story was told. It can be a new story with a new flow, its own story. Keep up the good work. May you keep true to yourself, your story and your characters. I wish you all the best.

I like how the story is going. Two point I would like to comment on. 1) I hope Liam doesn't become a Mary-Sue omnipotent can do everything kind of protagonist. I would be nice to see him being bad at things like close combat, crafting, cooking, etc. Create the need for him to keep people around and look for new people. From the story so far he looks like a mage. Also adding phobias and psychological quirks sounds fun. 2) I feel the copper, silver, gold thing is overdone. Bartering or using a resource that is constantly in use as currency sounds like it would fit this world more (ex. some stone that is used for crafting as currency, it has an actual use and can be used up outside of buying stuff).

Don't say they are cows, it breaks immersion. Saying they make good milk and have a lot of meat and people will understand it's a cow. You don't need to spell everything out.
