I'm so tired of seeing this... Signing a prenup means you get nothing from the marriage. Not signing one means you share everything. 🤦♀️
So, from what I've gathered, the father molested Kate. In the beginning, it said he cheated on their mother, but either everything that's been said since, it's implied that he is a pedophile who molested his own daughter.
Right... Because she's the reason her dad cheated on her mom. 🙄Makes soooo much sense. This story just keeps getting dumber and dumber... Main character, for being so "smart", is a complete and utter fool.
Yes
Yep... The author must not know this. 🤦♀️🤷♀️
Chapter 13 isn't that far, so saying I read so far and obviously saw potential, is irrelevant. I gave it a chance. When the story constantly contradicts itself and drones on, it will lose readers. As for your worries about insulting the writer, writers should be able to take criticism without losing interest and taking offense that easily. If this were a real book and not online, it wouldn't be printed as is. Editorial would have a lot of work to do before that could happen. There would be a lot of revision.
I feel like it's just copy/pasted from a Google search... Even someone who has an advanced form of eidetic memory, wouldn't spew out all of that. Even hyperthymesia has nothing on this ladies apparent memory skills. Honestly, I just skip all of it. Trying to get into the story, but these long paragraphs of unwanted detail, just ruin it and make me want to give up on the story. Especially since in the beginning all of this abuse is happening to her and it was clearly stated she doesn't have a good school life or education. If she had a memory so advanced, she would know how to avoid her family and be out of that situation.
The art and story are both great. What disappoints me is how expensive it is for privileged. Read up to chapter 47 a month ago. It originally said 10 chapters a week would be released, which I thought was a bit impossible to do. I see that it was recently changed to 3 chapters a week, which seems more realistic. Sadly, it's been a month since I last read anything and even still, the very last chapter I read is still locked by privilege. That's almost 30 chapters locked behind privilege. Looks like I'll have to put this book on hold for a few more months, until it's worth spending money on to read all of the privilege chapters, before putting it on halt for another few months. Otherwise it isn't worth it. As much as I enjoy the story and artwork, I don't want to have to spend so much on privilege just for stuff I've already read, just to be able to read a handful of chapters.
It was supposed to be held 2 days after the premiere.
Slow nor slow?
I don't know if it's just me, but that sounds kind of sexist... Just because she's a woman, it's a surprise that she can help an adult male sit up and even maintain a conversation while doing so? It isn't a complicated thing, at all...
It's believed that the fairer the skin, the more beautiful. Those from small villages are exposed to the sun more, so they're usually tanner and their skin is a bit more rough, compared to someone who'sindoors and pampered. Plus, the girls in cities are better off, so they can afford to present themselves with makeup and nicer clothing. Which is dumb, because even someone from a poor village can be beautiful or handsome. 🙄
My thoughts as well 🤔🙄
My thoughts exactly 👍
Honestly, I'm disgusted. The way he treated her and her putting up with it and still loving him like she does. As for her so called friend, I hope she gets a huge slap to the face. Both of them deserve it. She's better off without either of them and their so called "affections". Temporary is correct. If he ever tries to win her back. she should toss him out with the trash and wash her hands of the matter. He's definitely not husband material, let alone father material.
