I agree, the pacing is very slow. that said the writing quality and continuity are both very good. such a relief to read something that is not mtl quality for once. at some point I think the author will speed up some things but this is a build up to a pretty critical turning point right now. that said, he is rehashing certain things over again a bit too much.

systems can be fun when they are done right. however most do not get it right and actively harm the story. I personally think systemless books are not only more interesting to read, they also have more staying power as well. too often I see with a system is that the mc becomes op super quickly. such as kage level before 10. which makes no real sense imo.
