I don’t know much about canon after season 1, but based on everyone’e comments, she was killed and before she could die completely, her spirit was abducted by the World Will that senses Michael/Michelle and wanted her to be its champion to kill him/her off? Champion of world of titans makes her, well, a powerful titan. But she warns him/her because she wants to die or leave the world will’s grasp and only way of that happening is if MC dies or leaves the world.
