Just some constructive criticism apart from my strong hate for Hazel (THAT BICCTH!!!!) , The flow for the story needs some work, you should refer some popular novels despite their flaws they do some things right, like leaning into the next arc and building enough hype, landing and building the hype from the ground one where they left off once they start the arc in the next setting. While too much descriptions are a turn off for many people, a balance should be used. It helps to picture the characters in our minds and the environment, personalities don't have to be complex but it shouldn't be filled with them doing cringe filled dialogue which happens sometimes here but not all the time (Except the uppity manipulative hazel, though I started skipping every time I see her name). Some general knowledge and even words from bystanders or peanut gallery to give context helps. Try to make events have logical progression, with smooth switches the switch to this arc wasn't smooth at all. Just some words of advice.

You know since ALL mcs with absent parents eventually meet them, and like a missing piece of a puzzle they just slide right in to the mcs life shamelessly. The protagonist are also pushovers who don't even stand up for themselves, they just accept it happily like it's their fortune to have these parents who didn't do anything but make a baby accept their existence and love them. Like they are lucky to get any approval at all. I know some idiots who will say all orphans want their parents but as someone who has adopted parents I can say for sure I don't care about my real ones same goes for the other people like me I know. I even participated in a study on the subject and the results were that 70 something percent of the sample group feel the same.

Is the author juxtaposing his choices with standard murderous mcs here and before when dealing with arrogant young masters? That's fine I guess but I hope he follows through with this technique when he meets his real parents. I REAAALLLLY don't want to see him trip all over himself for their approval or for them to be apart of his life when they didn't even raise him.
