I mean, until Ling Ran came along that was the end result for a lot of them and generally speaking it's better to treat 5 patients perfectly than 10 decently. A medical malpractice lawsuit in china is no joke and with no liscense, the number of amputees goes from 5 to ten. In the land of touching porcelein, Doctors have to be uber careful.

that's the average and from car accidents alone that only go to their hospital. there are several hospitals if not dozens or so of them.
