that's ok, I'm not offended. however, I did say that maybe author can dump it ALL in 1 to 2 chapters, and by that, I meant at the first few chapters of the novel. actually, writer mentioning those little things the MC used to do in the past, like smoking etc., this "late" in the novel feels to me like he had THAT idea just as he was writing that chapter. Or worse, it feels like something he added at the last minute.

I wish there are more novels like this. Not just the PoV, but also the style. It's hard for me to put to words, but... Other novels are either too wordy with not much happening, or they're too concise, leaving much to the readers' imagination

It was good at the start, but chapters don't have much "meat" on them . Instead of spoon-feeding, I hoped that the system would really give hints to Klein. Let him figure things out. .. And don't start with his observation of the frogs. They're goshdarned frogs ! It's a given their jumping and tongue speeds are good. It's also weird that the frogs, who are producing poison from within their bodies cannot withstand poison being shot at them. I'm not expecting complete immunity but darn, the leg goes off just like that from a little contact with spit.

Kinda like Yeti and Wendigos? Some say they are interchangeable names for the same mythological creature but depending on where they are "sighted" and their physical characteristics some people would argue that they are completely different . That's the best I got. Hahaha

In a world based on Ancient Dynasties? Nope. History isn't my strong suit, but iirc the title for wives of Emperors are something like Imperial Consort. There isn't a "female emperor/empress" title simply because of their rare occurrence. Even if empress = female emperor is true, then how will people make a distinction between Empress A (wife of Emperor) and Empress Z (a female Emperor) ? Just my opinion though. I know most (if not all) readers won't be mistaken on this, but for the sake of world building etc I support the author/translator in keeping the title Emperor. There will always be a hint of gender inequality throughout history
