Still hope to see Rias get slapped sometime tho. She just feels like such a self important incompetent annoyance. While this is indeed her character in canon however id still like to see the mc or anyone else putting her in her place. Like she’s literally just leeching off the mc and rimuru while still being so whiny and self important and even wanting to get part of the spoils just doesnt sit right by me.
Personaly not a big fan of switching PoV's to side characters often. Even if a certain side character must have their shining moments then it could always be done from the MCs PoV.
Fair enough. Still dont like it tho as undoubtedly they will "link"whenever they meet. I can understand the genetics thing as its Rimuru's original ability but the linking of magical and scientific knowledge will just make Rimuru a "stronger" MC since her background and potential is there and unless the MC becomes a Aeon from starrail or smt im afraid he wont be able to catch up to the her after 1 or 2 years. Even if this doesnt have much impact on the story as a whole i personaly find it disgusting to have a superior copy of the MC running around. But its up to the Author to write w/e you want ofc.
Not as bad since it just happened in this rwby arc. From now on no matter what the mc does we readers would know that there is someone who can do the exact same thing with the exact same skill and same knowledge as the mc. The moment the mc loses his uniqueness he is no longer the mc imo. And ive seen plenty of stories self destructing in this way. Wich would really be a pity since i liked this one.
Thanks for the chapter. Still hope you can calm down on the entire ability sharing thing. While i understand from the MCs personal perspective giving your loved ones more power is a good thing. However from a readers perspective its a massive story killer( in my opinion) as it takes away the "uniqueness" every MC should possess to make the story interesting and if other characters have the exact same toolkit as the MC or even a improved version of the MC then any special "main character moments" that he might have in the future will become utterly pointless as either those moments would be delegated to a certain side character or would just be a "normal" action that others can do just as easily if not easier than the MC. Then the MC would no longer be the MC.
Thanks for the chapter. Dont think theres anything wrong with the fighting scene. After all the difference in strength is there and battles where one party uses all his strength to quickly beat the other party seems much more reasonable to me than spending 3/4 chapters writing about a meaningless battle.
