he may meet hank pym, the original antman, as he was active during the cold war, which is only 2 years after ww2 ended.
the answer is because terminal velocity doesn't determine whether you die from a fall into water or not. it's the sudden stop that determines it. at terminal velocity, water is solid, that is a fact, but you can injure yourself just by diving in a pool of water at ten feet high by belly flopping. keep in mind you are nowhere near terminal velocity. when you hit the water above 190ft, your body isn't gonna be smooshed per say, but your internal organs are gonna hit the water HARD, including your brain. it'll be similar to be getting hit by a train. while survivable, it isn't very likely that you will. and if you do... you will have major injuries, unless you are either a skilled jumper, or are insanely lucky.
yeah, you are wrong. the world record of no injuries in a jump into water is 59 meters bro. 75 meters alone has an estimated 98% morality rate, with 70 meters(229 ft) being literally 9 ft higher than the highest jump ever recorded to have someone survive, and that man was very seriously injured. jumping from this height without so much as an injury is near impossible, even with training.
