Technically abdication is the king and queen saying they retire, possibly in favor of someone in particular who has their endorsement for the throne, if the 1st heir = crown prince/princess then generally an easy transition. Although unless a son or daughter takes over and they retire to a type of happy advisor status most deposed kings and queens end up getting the chop or else later on leading a revolution to put themselves back on the thrown.
doesn't they mean impressively damaged and still recovering spiritual power?
my suspicions of an extra-dimensional invasion via the 'system' is increasing,
Is our MC an unwitting front man of an extra dimensional invasion?
Perhaps they fear another lord is making a move. Meaning our poor ingoramus of a lord isn't the only pawn owner in this brave new world!
The author keeps hinting that the Flash looks up to Batman. Does that mean his secondary personality that lets him rain his pain down on the Joker is... Robin? Remember this is a 'secondary' personality, one that's not a 'super hero'. Secondary = sidekick? And I'd swear Robin had no powers.
A user base that can't read can't use the internet. Have to spread free education
That's fair, most of its going to him and they are teaching him when literally no one else would take him.
He thought too much!
I actually like this rule.
It brings back to mind the scene where Li Changshou was being struck by heavenly punishment lightning as the great Dao Ancestor scolded him. Why is it only 98% certainty of passing this tribulation, why not 100%. Why not 100%!!!
I'd say screw you VP and go market myself to a private guild. I'm sure they'd upgrade sister's hospital bed/account easily.
Indeed showing why he is a saint and the 'Sea God' is only a disciple. The disciple works diligently to avoid Karma while the Saint works hard to avoid Merit.
What disciple wouldn't want to be friends with an empty headed muscle head who puts their immortal masters in a state of fear and terror?
He must yoke the luck and destiny of the magi-humans to his steady harness. After all he has a duty as a grifter... I mean sea god to look after his own.
In other words I am confident that 100% of what an immortal could possibly do has been covered, but out of my great respect for the heavenly dao and the great dao I bow my head at possibilities I can't imagine.
An unorthodox master of the sect's steady soft style, who uses the massive force of his opponents Karma to redirect it to... someone else!
