In Zaboru's past life, God Hand was one of the best beat-'em-up action games in history—loaded with personality and uniqueness, far ahead of its time. Yet, it received a shockingly low score of 3 from IGN simply because the reviewer wasn't skilled at playing it and didn't enjoy the experience. Meanwhile, players like Zaboru had an absolute blast with the game. That unfair review contributed to its poor sales, which ultimately led to the disbanding of Clover Studio, the developer. With that, the God Hand franchise was effectively killed. "I have to be cautious. If I see reviews like that again… I might need to step in."
