you're telling me, that a man eating, supernatural, wizarding world level spider has been living near the waterfall that the mc and his brother explored and played around for their entire child hood, in the continent that is known specifically for being a no man's land for magic? There's a limit to my suspense of belief author. You don't just overturn an entire stories premise just so you can plausibly plot armor mc's brother.
