Showing this acknowledgment in the lighthearted and cheerful way alleviated much of the heavy feeling for the readers when looking at Hachiman at this moment.

Really good writing here. You really captured Hachiman's character and his awkward yet martyr like way of doing things. He understood that Honami felt hurt and didn't want anyone to bear it with her. Hachiman shifting the focus on him and solving the problems for class B shows his compassion for Ichinose and by now experiencing the same situation and his deep understanding of societal system to manipulate it to his desired result. The show of emotion was also on point by having those detailed reactions from those of class B after it was explained to them. It was not an easy solution to find and an even harder solution to execute, yet Hachiman did it.

ya I thought the Levels are like vessels that you fill falna with so a Level one that filled its vessel with 1000 points should be stronger than a Level 2 who only filled their Level 1 vessel with 700 points leveled up and only 200 points in their current. And of course this is only stats alone and not skills.
