Honestly tried to like it, but just too cringy. It's basically every guys dream come true for reality, but doesnt make for a interesting and realistic story for me. Getting random girls fall for you just because? Check. Have no filter and people love you even more? Check. OP powers just because? Check. Hitting on other girls in front of wives and still be called loyal? Check. Naturally talented at battle and a battle maniac? Check. Disrespectful to authorities (dictatorships) and be rewarded? Check. Overall, not my thing at all and suprised it's popular like this. I do admit the powers and fight scenes pretty interesting, but difficult to go through a chapter without hearing the word "darling" which makes me want to throw up honestly.

I agree, but it's a completely different thing to translate that ruthlessness into basically killing people with their own hands, and being personally ruthless. Especially when their own life becomes at risk.

I disagree, because unless you are a psychopath, it takes alot of character change to kill someone purposefully. Plus, what world you are living in that all adults are automatically intelligent, cunning and ruthless?

I actually had similar feelings regarding that as well, but I feel like just because someone starts as a slave, doesn't mean they'll circome to fate and watching him actually fundamentally try and change is fascinating .

Barely even started it since didn't seem that interesting to me, and I didn't think I'd like the main character, but it is enthralling and all the main characters have depth and basically capable of realistic change where it actually makes sense. It's also well written and has a well balanced story line, and it has alot of action, but also isn't rushed.

Personally I think the Mc is intelligent and quite frankly realistic. He suddenly gains powers as a teenager and is growing up, learning and making mistakes while finding himself and what kind of person he is. I'm tired of the novels where the MC gains powers randomly and that makes them a ruthless genius with no character growth.

He is in a relationship so what does it matter if they engaged or not. Its still called cheating. Plus, i found the entire exchange to be stupid. He is "trying" to get away gently since he doesnt want to hurt them? Are they mortals or something? I mean the dude spars with them, so dont get it. Plus, are you saying Emery not going the Harem route?

When Emery met Vizla, Vizla said that he is Silvas fiance. He then took Emery to a bath and was fooling around with other women. Basically Emery judged him, when he basically did the same thing to Kleo.

So, all I heard was you talking about flirting being in the same category as cheating. Especially considering that they weren't even in a relationship. Like seriously, grow up dude. And tell me, what happened after Emery was knocked out??

Messing his relationship with Gwen how? By literally saying the truth?? That the goals and ideas in their relationship isn't even in the same stratosphere? And what? Her making him jealous is manipulating him? You should stop it considering that is basically a norm in relationships. And don't make flaws and mistakes Klea makes the same as Emerys indecisiveness and betrayal in relationships the same. She was a queen and you don't see her have no harem. How is that fair?? Because Emery is a guy?

I don't think so. For one, just because they were a part of the story at one point doesn't mean that they need to become an integral part of the mc's life many years later for no reason honestly. It's the difference between high school friends and crushes and College friends and crushes. Idk, I just don't understand the trying to force a harem on an otherwise stand up guy.

I feel like this entire arc is the silva arc. As in trying to justify Emery being with Silva, even putting the fact that they have important information that could change the war in the backburners. Emery will probably be told by the queen that because he took silvas first time, he needs to marry her, because why not. 🤣🤣🙄🙄🙄

Emery is starting to annoy me. Is he really going to be hypocritical af and talking about the guy fooling around with other women behind the "amazing" Sylva's back??

If one person is sacrificing everything for you, while you have the luxury of doing whatever you want just because, what does that say about his character? Mc should treat women better than how he is. It doesn't matter if its because of a aphrodisiac or whatever, if he doesnt have a strong will, what does he have?The author should look at modern celebrities for reference or something. Do you want Emery to emulate a Hugh Hefner or a Tom Brady?

I know it's not going to happen, but hope klea just ends up with someone else. Literally saved herself for him, loved him for years and left her Empire for him, and all he does is disappoint. Emery is a loser.

Finally an author who literally made a faithful mc. I don't know what you are planning on doing in the future but for now, I'm just glad that the mc is acting like how a real person would act. I Personally like a mc who is faithful to one girl and actually treating her right compared to him accepting 5 different girls who like him because he is cool or strong or said hi. Can you imagine a dude going home to his gf or wife and saying; " Hey, this girl into me and she hot. She also my gf now, that cool?"

Honestly. I enjoyed the beginning but then there are some critical things that don't make sense at all. His power level is inconsistent and literally don't know anything about how strong he is compared to others. World building also doesn't make sense as well. Ascension isn't described properly so clueless regarding that. Basically Mc is as strong as the author wants him to be at any given point so you always have no clue how strong he is.

They really haven't stayed with him that long. With Avelia and Tiana, they went through alot of trials and experiences together while all the others, it's quite brief and shallow. Athan literally is always training and leaves to go to other places alot. He also as far as you wrote hasn't shown any interest in them at all. I feel just because a girl loves you, you aren't obligated to love them back. Dudes already happy and satisfied with the two he already has. I just don't see the point.

Personally, I find it very annoying the every single girl in the group want to be with him part. I mean there are other guys there, not to mention that he is taken. Is he supposed to accept every single girl who likes him because he is mysterious and powerful??
