Trust me, inconsistent leveling is extremely common in the raws of a lot of these stories. This owes a lot to the fact that the leveling system isn't very well thought out from the get go and new systems are later adopted, typically going from game-y to more traditional chinese ranking systems which might be understood better by the native audience but is still vague enough to give the author lee-way, and for good measure, the systems are further confused by giving MC a higher "qualitative boost" for good measure to cover up the nonsense (IE everyone else has white Qi but MC has legendary Golden Qi that makes his rank 1 equal to a normie's rank 5).

Yes, there are literally dozens of novels like this on 起点. But only a few of them have been translated into English.

Update: Author believes that in an infinite galaxy of other nations, only people from Earth would know what soap is, specifically Chinese people (Non-Chinese people don't bathe in fact). The author writes in a scene to show off how strong he is (since MC is just who the author wishes he was) and he snaps a bar of soap in half with his bare hands (frightening I know). However, his ignorant slave...er I mean totally loyal due to MC's pure kindness friend.... bends over to pick it up not knowing what "Soap" is. This prompts author to go on a tirade about raping people in the shower. Author has a serious fetish for homosexuality but also pretends like he's not in the closet himself. So, he aggressively kicks away the soap, because the thought of a fully clothed male, bending over to pick something up in front of another fully clothed male (outside in the open with other people around) is too sexual for MC to handle and causes him to go on a homophobic tirade.

There's a lot more than 3 instances of nationalism. Throughout the entire first 95 chapeters he's constantly crying about how superior the Chinese are too all others. Or how he can't show off, or won't get likes, because of racism against the Chinese. This is confirmed by the fact that people see his name and then start saying "F china how dare you get better than me!!!" after only 3 or 4 days have passed since the transmigration.

"well written" is a bit of an over statement just because you like the concept. It's definitely not "well written" otherwise it would be published in China instead of being on a crummy trash novel site 起點

if it makes you feel better, for years, the chinese internet has been flooded with posts about how terrible these online novels are. They're referred to as trash by regular people. Then again, that's how normal people refer to wattpad stories too.

What does your name mean? I mean, technically, if you had a name like erica, you should say "eternal ruler" instead, since erica isn't from english.

I have translated for sites like 起點 in the past and my lady, has done it from the Chinese side. This is how it goes: Chinese author writes an honestly pretty bland story ---> it gets popular due to Chinese people seeing the high word count + a decent concept to imagine ----> story makes enough money that they think it can be a success in Engish ----> Chinese - English translator (often Chinese) translates to English -----> "editor" that took four years of english in highschool from Indonesia or 14 year old drop out from the US looks over the work ----> "editor" is told to take huge liberties with the story with the idea that it will be more interesting to westerners ----> editor gets paid to add in tons scenes based on what they think would be "cool" ------> The Chinese translator re-checks the "editor's" work for mistakes (no kidding, they themselves know the people they hire to edit can barely spell) and changes the story up more to their own personal tastes -----> chapter is published ----> random person that reads MTL and knows HSK 1 only ( Ex. FNU_LNU) complains as if they know what the process is -----> repeat process with another "novel".

You don't seem to be very familiar with this system. For years now, they've had this going on. I have translated for sites like 起點 in the past and my lady, has done it from the Chinese side. Probably not true, unleses you test your pain tolerances IRL already. Like, if you're not breaking your arm just to see how bad it hurts and then planning how not to break bones now, I doubt you'd kill yourself or torture yourself just because you knew you could come back once or twice. Not without death being forced on you to the point that you become desensitized to it.

"This really is a game" exclaimed Adam as he saw that he had gained loot and the goblin disappeared after being defeated.

I mean it's pretty realistic, the head is pretty sensitive. The goblin had its back turned, and he had a running start. Of course he also got a lucky critical hit too. The real problem is that, I bet after this, the realistic physics will go out the window, or at the very least, will never apply to MC when MC is attacked.

Instead of the body collapsing like what he expected, the goblin disintegrated into pixels and left behind a small pouch and a wooden club.

The actual Chinese idiom is 天上不會掉餡餅 “stuffed buns don't fall from the sky" which pretty much means the same thing as "there's no such thing as a free lunch". It's not "negative" to recognize that there is a cost to everything we do. Even if he were to sit around asking for help, he still has to spend the time asking for people to help him. Lol. It's not healthy denying reality buddy.

However, he knew better than anybody that there was no such thing as a free lunch, and everything had a price which he was curious about.

No, there aren't. If you want anything you have to work for it. Or, someone else has to. That sandwich your mom made for you? Yeah, she had to work at her job (or your dad at his). A farmer had to grow the grain, a baker had to make the bread. You had to spend your time eating it, time that could have been spent on something else.

However, he knew better than anybody that there was no such thing as a free lunch, and everything had a price which he was curious about.
