There's perhaps nothing more redundant than an IQ test. They're well-modelled sure, but at the end of the day all you're left with is either a gold sticker saying "Wow, you're smart." Which is all well and good but can leave you egotistical and lazy, or a sudden realisation that you're as stupid as every embittered teacher had told you, and it feels like no matter how hard you try in life you're genetically predisposed to fail. The reality is most people in the "genius range" are just slightly better at whatever job they choose to do and achieve nothing of great importance. And even an "idiot" can change the world.

Can't help but think, if batman was really smart he could just "bribe" most of these villians into doing good deeds. Most of them want money, or have a problem that could be solved with money. And others have varying types of mental illnesses that I'm sure someone in the dcu has the powers to cure or limit.

... Are you insulting the British, the age-old joke about inadequate dental care despite being one of the few countries that have socialized medicine; that includes dental care. I presume it originates from the 17-1800s when the brits were one of the few countries wealthy enough for most of its inhabitants to consume sugar on a regular basis i.e. in tea.
