There was a lack for sure of 'God damnnn' moments in the beginning of CPOD, but while i understand how it could bother some people the progression was still truly fast. From a farmer, to a Prefecture Master and even King. All of this in a small ~200 chapters. I think it was a fine foundation to start on, before having the more epic stuff like Fang Yuan becoming a Dragon God or the Ancestor of a Dynasty. The creation of his own True World was also very inspiring even if my favourite Arc stays as the Monger World 100% (If in Alpha 3 Realm he let a calamity befall on the world while killing billions of mortals, in the Monger Realm we have the proof that Fang Yuan's inhuman mindset don't fall far behind Leylin. He actively corrupts and commit massacres for the sole sake of his cultivation, but yeah compared to Leylin who knows about his sins, Fang Yuan talks much more about "mortals" indicating that he isn't even aware of how cruel he is. After becoming a Demon God he don't even consider himself as a human being, i quote "I may not be the same race, but I still understand the hearts of others!" while talking to the humans of the Scientific Cultivation Universe.) Sorry for the long paragraph ^^. Also, i have finished WMW and i caught up with the trad of Reverend Insanity (which are both among my favourite novels, with Renegade Immortal and CPOD) but i didn't read BTTH.

Is it just me, or the identity that Fang Yuan took as the boss of an antique shop is a reference to the first arc of Mystical Journey ? After all, the Plagiarist wrote Carefree Path of Dreams with Mystical Journey of Get Lost as the main inspiration. Like WMW and the Wizard World of the same author.
